Movie on the Lawn – October 17, 2025
Join your Parkwood neighbors for a free family-friendly event! Parkwood Association has partnered with Parkwood United Methodist Church for a “Movie on the Lawn” Friday, October 17th at Parkwood UMC, 5123 Revere Road Durham NC.
We will be collecting canned food items for the Parktown Food Hub. If you can, bring a food item for donation when you attend Movie on the Lawn on October 17th and the Parkwood Fall Festival on November 15th.Parktown Food Hub’s Most Needed items are:
- Canned vegetables
- Canned soups and broths
- Mac & cheese
- Ramen
- Spaghetti noodles
- Canned tomato sauce
- Canned chicken
- Oatmeal
- Cereal

Parkwood Association Board of Directors Meeting – October 9, 2025
The next scheduled meeting of the Parkwood Association Board of Directors is Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 7:00 pm via Zoom.
Board of Directors meetings are open to all Parkwood residents. Non-board members will have approximately three minutes before the official start of the meeting to address the board on issues of concern. After the meeting has begun guests are welcome to stay but may not participate in the meeting. Please note that there are a few exceptions to guest participation. For example, committee chairs who are not board members and/or their identified delegate(s) (e.g. identified subject matter expert or project lead), may address the board during the meeting, at the request of the board. Committee-based updates, Q&A, and associated discussion do not have pre-set time limits.

Parkwood Homeowners are invited to attend the Parkwood Association Annual Meeting, Tuesday September 9th at 7:00 pm via Zoom.
